I purchased this day pack for my wife last year. I think we have had enough time to write a review now having taken this pack on everything from Elk to Bear to Duck.
The positives are this pack is well built, has strong zippers, strong stitch lines, and really holds up under all conditions whether that be 90 degree days chasing elk early archery season or 10 degree days in January hunting ducks.
The pack is very small you aren’t going to get much into this pack especially if you pack an extra warming layer. A day pack should be just that a day pack my wife found it very difficult to pack optics, warming layers, food, gear etc. my wife is only 5’2 110 pounds so she doesn’t need much but never had enough room.
The one thing I can not stress enough and you absolutely should know this pack is INSANELY NOISY. The zippers, the material, everything about this pack makes an insane amount of noise. If you’re not worried about noise and are planning on glassing off a ridge or clear cut then you will be fine but if hunt by getting into the animals and sneaking into bedding sites and tree stands or blinds this pack is not one I would bring or you would want to bring. I would consider something else. Prois really needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. With that said my wife absolutely loves Prois. I have bought her Kuiu, First light and offered her Sitka but she is and has always been loyal to Prois. But you really need to design a new day pack.
