Our Dionla Jacket is constructed with a three-layer seam-sealed stretch fabric. This jacket is built with plenty of room for layering. This durable fabric is very quiet for rain gear but lightweight enough to pack on backcountry adventures. The W/P 20,000 | MVP 15,000 provides performance-level waterproofing and breathability. It also features a 2 two-direction adjustment to keep the hood in place in windy conditions, without obscuring your peripheral vision. Zippered hand pockets provided added waterproof storage.
TECHNOLOGY
- W/P 20,000 | MVP 15,000 waterproof layering system
- 80/20 PU Lamination
- Aquaguard Zippers
- Veil® Camo - Cumbre
CARE
Machine wash according to detergent instructions with a detergent specifically formulated for waterproof apparel such as Nikwax Tech Wash®. Household detergents leave behind a residue that attracts water to the surface fabric, which can cause the fabric to absorb rather than repel water. By cleaning with the right cleaner, the water-attracting contaminants are removed. Line dry.
Of course, only heed these instructions if you want your gear to last. Otherwise...go nuts.
First of all, I live on Vancouver Island Canada and recieved this jacket in 2 weeks which is great! The duty fees were also a lot less then I expected, only $35 (I ordered the jacket with 40% off).
For the jacket itself, I just picked it up so I have only tried it on once inside. My first thought was that the jacket is a bit louder then I hoped. The arms don't really make a swush sound when swinging them back and forth but they make a crackling sound when you bend your arms. I did notice the crackling sound became less after moving my arms around for a couple of minutes so, it could be that the jacket just needs to be worn for a bit.
I ordered a Medium size and it seems perfect, normaly I'm between Small and Medium. The bottom of the jacket seems a bit on the tighter side but, I do have wider hips so it could just be a 'problem' for me. I could fit a small/down jacket underneath and feel fine, not sure about a bigger wintercoat. Overall it seems a good jacket!
Just bought this rain coat for my Photography trip to West coast. They are so quiet I can defiantly be sneaky in these..LOL.
Been through 2 rain hunts with this gear and it did not disapoint. Good fit and dry.
I was wearing men’s brands and although they work awesome I wanted a jacket that actually fit my hips and wasn’t tapered. I love how it fits to my curves and also has a draw string at the bottom to tighten around my hips/waist. I am a medium/large in jackets usually but ordered XL to be able to layer during fall hunting in Alaska and it fits amazing! Long enough in the torso to cover and not ride up or expose lower back and sleeves fit great. Overall very happy with this jacket!
I haven’t had the opportunity to wear these yet, but they appear to be well made and fairly quiet material. I will update after use.
