This was my first purchase with Prios. I’ve been wanting a rain coat and pants for sometime now. I didn’t purchase the pants because they are not water proof so my “wish” would be to have matching waterproof pants.
As for the coat. I love the fit and how it looks on. I haven’t used it yet but it’s not as quiet as I would have thought.I have gear from another company that’s much quieter BUT none of that is water proof - just water resistant so maybe the waterproof feature, is just noisier.
All in all, I am happy with my purchase and if the pants ever come out as waterproof, I’ll be purchasing them!!
I recently tested out the Dionla rain gear for my elk hunt in Western Washington. I have hunted for years in very inclement weather and have always utilized the upper end men’s systems because i simply had not found anything even remotely adequate for women. The Prois Dionla rain coat and pants performed better than i ever anticipated. They kept me dry in torrential downpours, they dried out quickly, and they kept me insulated in the cold. Even more impressive was how quiet they were. And the icing on the cake… the fit was amazing because they are actually made for women!
Prois covered all the critical elements needed for quality rain gear and i am incredibly impressed.
I ordered the rain jacket and pants and was super excited when I received them. What a great quality jacket and lots of features! BUT - the biggest size (XL) is too small for me. I am really disappointed, as I wanted and needed this outfit. I am a big fan of the Pradlann Upland pants and the Solas Pursuit pants and have lots of other Prois stuff. But I am size 16-18 and the rain gear is just too small for that, and I had to send it back (no problem with that). :-(. Can we please have some bigger sizes? I know Prois can do this!
I haven’t gotten a chance to wear my new Dionla rain gear but if it’s anything like the rest of their products I’m sure it will be awesome! I love the looks of it!
I like the jacket. The material seems of decent quality, although I feel that the zippers are hard to zip up and down. I feel like I’ll break the zipper if I’m not using two hands. Also if you need layers order a size up or even two sizes up if you need extra extra warmth under the rain jacket, being that it has no inner liner.
