#tastytuesday shoutout to Prois Staffer, Margie Nelson! Incase you needed another reason to go get a turkey tag….. let this drool worthy dish do the talking! READ ON!
Buffalo turkey leg mac and cheese.
Roast your wild turkey. Use your left over Turkey and make this. You won’t be sorry!
Just use two different artisan pastas (tagliatelle and conchiglie) and three different grated cheeses (mild white cheddar, swiss and gruyere) and use your wild turkey legs that you roasted or you can set to boil for about 2 hours and just remove the meat and continued simmering the bones with veggies for a nice turkey broth.
The leg meat can be broken into pieces, but not shredded.
Make the buffalo hot sauce:
•1/4 cup butter
• half a bottle of @franksredhot
•a whole packet of ranch dressing and mix!
Cover the broken up Turkey pieces with the buffalo sauce and scatter into your Mac and cheese.
Put your leftovers or wild turkey legs to good use! Make something fun and different. Cook those darn sinewy, tendony things into submission...make some stock!
