I sat out in a blind yesterday at 17° and was actually able to keep my body warm! I'm always freezing. (And believe me my hands were another story.) But with my Prois merino base layer top and bottom, my Greann Bib, and two top layers I was able to stay warm. That's a first. It's comfortable and quiet. I had some concerns that the weeds we picked for cover would stick to this thing but they did NOT. Hell, even the dirt I sat in brushed right off. The one strap instead of two was also pretty great in making my bathroom break not as awful as it could have been. Very glad I bought these.
Super comfortable and warm for my elk hunt! My only complaint is that the waist isn’t adjustable.
I am very excited to finally acquire hunting clothes made for women, and at 40% off, the price was great too! Also, the free shipping was very prompt! ETA was 5 to 8 days but they arrived within 4 days which included a weekend.
I tried on the Greann Bib as soon as it arrived. Material sounds quiet enough, at least in the comfortable temperature of my home. Insulation seems like it will be warm and cozy, but I won't get to field test that until rifle season opens. I love the thoughtfulness regarding the female form and needs that have been put into the design! I am very much looking forward to using the Greann Bib when the weather turns cold.
As happy and excited as I am about this purchase, I do have a couple suggestions:
I am 5'9", 170 lbs, DDD. I have slightly long legs and a slightly long waist. After reading reviews and double checking my measurements, I went with the L size which would be my normal size. The fit was very comfortable over jeans from the waist down. The size large would be perfect for me if only the length of the elastic neck strap allowed me more room for adjustment. With just a t-shirt and the strap extended as far as it will go, it is snug on my neck and stretching to accommodate my girls. The neck strap length is probably fine for anyone around my size who is a D cup or smaller.
I also agree with other reviews about the snap for the side zipper. The force needed to unsnap it seems to be enough that the fabric material would eventually wear out and tear around the snap. I think a small design modification of adding material reinforcement to the fabric where the snap is secured would prevent snap related breakage in future products.
I hope Prois will include these small design tweaks in the future to bump the Greann Bib to a 5-Star product.
These things are cozy and delightful. Hunted this year in sub 20 degree weather - mostly sitting and waiting, and my lower body has never been warmer. I layered these with thermals and a pair of unlined field pants and they were perfect for sitting around, a little toasty for a lot of walking but not bad at all. I was grateful to have them on after the sun set. The front zip thigh pockets are really deep (fit my giant phone) and a great feature.
I was never a fan of bibs until I bought these! I love the fit and the strap is perfect. Traditional bibs were always a pain to get on amd off, but the constructionof the strap won me over. They are warm and comfortable. Wish I had these years ago!
