Not only are these bibs wicked warm, they have revolutionized my capacity to pee from my tree stand. The unique behind the neck strap means I can slip these out from under my coat without having to remove my entire top layer. This makes the whole process warmer, safer, and faster. Thank you Prois!
I have had these bibs now for two deer hunting seasons, and they have been amazing! These bibs are very warm with the exterior being a thick fleece. The fabric is durable and withstands the thick brush and pricker bushes. I love the front pockets on the thigh, they are perfect for your phone and small essentials. The legs unzip at the bottom to widen. I always tuck the bottom of my bibs into my boots to keep them clean and dry. The strap that goes around your neck is halter style. I have not found the strap to rub horribly on your skin, but it is something to consider. I bought a large because I like things to be roomy, for layering purposes. I am 5'4" and weigh 150 lbs. I could have dealt with sizing down to the medium. I would go with your true size.
I bought these based on other reviews and they didn't disappoint. These are very warm. I mainly hunt in a tree stand and struggle to keep warm. One of my concerns was length, I am 5'8 and wear a size 4. These are plenty long enough and don't ride up too high when sitting.
I wasn't too sure if I would like the halter style, but I don't even notice it. The back has a thinner material which allows for some stretch when putting them on. Some warmer material there would be nice. Otherwise these are perfect.
