This is absolutely the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned. This jacket has so many features like the deep chest pockets for keeping your hands warm to the garage over the zipper to keep your chin from getting rubbed. I really like the fold down flap that keeps your pants dry while you’re sitting on the ground. The drawstring in the hood allows you to wear the hood and not fight with it to see. It’s waterproof and and quite. The sleeve liners help keep the drafts from going up the sleeves. This jacket actually needs 10 stars.

The warmest coat I own! I spend approximately 60-70 days a year in the cold windblown fields chasing waterfowl, especially snows, specks and canada geese. This is often accomplished in just a layout blind or by hunkering down in ditch lines, waterways, and stands of phragmites. Until I owned this coat, (and pants) I had very difficult time finding clothing that would truly keep me warm, and yet afford me the fit and mobility that is needed. This truly allows me to lay in frozen field for hours without issue. One of my most favorite attributes in the ingenious drop down “duck tail” that allows an extra barrier between your fanny and any wet/damp/frosty areas I find myself so frequently sitting in. This jacket has everything needed for all of my winter days afield. It’s soft and quiet enough for those long frigid late winter deer sits, the nylon tricot makes layering a smooth process, and keeps my arms from getting stuck in bound up with any extra layers. The deep chest pockets are excellent hand warming pockets and for a change in an appropriate place for the female form versus the so many garments who have chest pockets placed so one seems to be groping their own bustline! The spandex inner sleeve liner is lifesaver for keeping the drafts out and forms an excellent barrier when picking up or setting decoys. This is a must have for anyone who spends a good deal of time in cold outdoor environments. I have not once gotten cold when wearing this coat. Even after spending hours lying in frozen field waiting on birds.

This is the best jacket I’ve ever owned. Period. The fit, the warmth, the SLEEVE LENGTH, everything about it is great. I love how the material is not bulky at all, but its warmer than any of the thick, pillowy jackets I’ve had in the past. By far, my favorite feature of this jacket is the sleeves that are plenty long enough, plus have an inner liner and adjustable velcro closures to keep the sleeves tight against your gloves to ensure cold air/snow/rain won’t get in. The duck tail feature keeps you dry when you’re forced to sit on wet ground (which is a LOT if you’re a waterfowler like me!) You won’t be disappointed in this jacket.

This jacket delivers on everything it promises. Using the Xtreme line up for the first time this season and I can honestly say that I’m truly impressed. The devil is in the details and the details make for a jacket that delivers EXCEPTIONAL performance in the field. I LOVED the little drop down ducktail piece. It covers your derriere and when you pull the little drawstrings (on each side of the tail) it’s just not possible for the jacket to ride up and allow cold air in! FINALLY! I also REALLY liked the drawstring feature in the hood. Whoever thunk that one up was a GENIUS! It really does improve your field of vision (cause hood usually annoy the snot out of me and I take them off most of my jackets! Can’t kill what I can’t see!) Another thoughtful item is the opening for the safety harness. Yes, many other jackets have that hole. However, this one has a snap to keep that hole CLOSED when not in use!!! Excellent thinking! The sleeve liners are AWESOME and really keep the chill from going up your sleeves. My only “complaint”…this jacket needs a scapular pocket and outside shoulder pockets to add warmers like the Pro-Edition.

This jacket has kept me warm and dry for the last three years. It has a buttoned fold down in the back to keep your pants dry and clean. I am VERY cold natured and I’ve yet to be cold while wearing this jacket. It is well lined and insulated. The waterproof material of the jacket is quiet so when your reaching in your deep pockets it’s not a disturbance. It has chest pockets in the right place as well. I love that it fits on you like a woman’s jacket should. Although it’s a thick coat it isn’t heavy or bulky. This is a must have for hunting in the cold.

This jacket has everything! It’s super warm without being bulky. I love the soft visor on the hood and that it has the elastic drawstring feature so it doesn’t hinder your peripheral vision. The duck tail has come in handy keeping my bum dry sitting on damp logs but also while snowshoeing looking for sheds or ruffled grouse. My ONLY complaint is with the duck tail, I find that it unsnaps really easily when not in use, riding in vehicles. When snapped to the jacket it sticks out a little bit so when I get in and out of vehicles I end up sitting on it and that pulls on it just enough to unsnaps it. However, this wouldn’t stop me from buying the jacket AT ALL. I’m 100% in love with this jacket and have been recommending it to all my female hunting friends and family. If you’re on the fence about buying it, just do it! You won’t be sorry 🙂

I hunt in very cold weather, this jacket will no doubt keep you very warm! It is by far the warmest outerwear that I own (along with the matching pants). The hood is wind stopping and the jacket has many hidden features that you will grow to love. It has a built in opening for a safety harness at the neck, again, a must for cold weather tree stand hunting. Plus, if you have to sit, the ducktail feature is amazing! No cold, wet butts here. LOL. I recently used this jacket hiking in below freezing temps and was not one bit cold. A must have!
