Fits and looks great. Wife loves all the Prois line stuff
these are fabulous the feel the wear i have no complaints i layered and sat in mud snow and rain and stayed warm/dry here in the pnw while out field hunting 2 days for upland 1 day for migratory bird, after that i washed them and hung to dry as tag directions say they look new again.. yup so good i ordered another pair..
Decent midweight pant but did not meet my expectations when compared to other Prois products. I also have the Tintri Lightweight pant so I was expecting a warmer pant with a similar fit. These seem to be about the same weight as my Tintri lightweight pants however they sit much lower on my waist, the fabric is louder and they aren’t as stretchy. Living in Southern Nevada rain is rarely an issue, however a couple weeks ago it started raining when we were heading out to our duck blind and by the time we got there and grabbed our rain gear my pants were already soaked through. Disappointing for a water-resistant pant considering it wasn’t raining hard just steady. Also, the bottom side zippers need to be a little longer to allow an easier fit over boots. I wear a woman’s size 10 and struggled to get these pants on over my boots.
I bought this in preparation for a WY Cow Elk hunt in 2023. I bought the jacket and the pants. To test them out, I wore them outside doing chores, and wore them hunting during the Polar Vortex cold snap.
Pros: Nice fabric, love the colors. My normal size was a bit loose, but the waist adjustment helped me get an almost custom fit, and allows me to wear them without a belt. I like how the pockets could be unzipped to allow some airflow (like the pit zips on the jacket). I'm 5'2" and with boots, they were not dragging the ground.
Cons: The jean type pockets are nice, though I cant really get to the front pockets while still hunting. The thigh pockets seem like a great concept, but in reality I found them not very useful. My phone was too bulky on the top of my thigh, and snacks got smooshed. The pants did block the wind when I was repairing a busted waterline in 45mph winds.
I wore this set still hunting in 47 degree weather (with expedition weight base layer) and froze. It is fine when I am moving around, but the minute I sit I am cold about 15 minutes later. I wanted to love it, but this probably wont be my go set unless it's 50+ degrees.
Ugh! Nothing like doing returns after Christmas!
