Of course, only heed these instructions if you want your gear to last. Otherwise...go nuts.
I was able to test it out in cold temps during w heavy snow fall. Stayed plenty warm. Does make a lot of noise compared to my other Prois gear. It was a tight fit. I am a large in all other Prois gear. Guess I should have sized up, but when I went online to order another one in XL and gift this one, they didn’t have a bigger size available. Otherwise, it’s a solid jacket. I like the pockets. It would be neat if it has some zippers to access the inside jacket packets from the outside. It’s a bulky fluffy type jacket. It doesn’t look it in the images. But it feels that way when you’re wearing it.
Love this coat! Super warm and quiet. Too bad they discontinued it!!
This jacket is warm and I had hoped to hunt with it for many years. However yesterday when I grabbed my gloves out of the pockets I noticed that both pockets are tearing. I have owned this coat less then a year. I wore it for a few days in hunting season but most of the time it was in my pack due to a warm year. I wear it more for taking the dog outside on extremely cold days since it is large enough to throw on over whatever I am wearing. I also wear the fleece separate since it does not stay in place and is not the same length as the coat.
I have looked high and low for a jacket that is women's, warm, waterproof, and camo. You'd be surprised how difficult it is to find a jacket that checks those boxes. Lucky for me I found this one! AND on sale? Score! I've actually been wearing it as my everyday winter jacket because it's so comfortable. The fuzzy jacket on the inside is very comfortable and cute too. I wear it as a seperate jacket. I ordered a medium because I wanted it to be a little loose so I could fit layers underneath. It fits exactly how I wanted it to. Duck hunting and coyote hunting tested.
The warmest jacket I have ever owned! I live in the PNW which has very cold winters and I stayed warm through snow and icey hunts.
