I have been eyeballing this Turkey vest for a bit and finally pulled the trigger on buying it. I am very impressed! I’ve been using my husband’s old vest and it’s just so big and doesn’t form fit me like this women’s specific vest does. I cannot speak as to any durability or anything like that yet, but I can’t wait to get out in the field with it!
I am really happy with the Prois Turkey vest.
It is well constructed out of durable, light weight materials. Has a great pocket layout, somewhat like an upland vest. There are nice zippered pockets for valuables (wallet, phone) as well as multiple silent closure pockets for all of your turkey calls, shells, etc. The more you look at it, the better it gets as you see the thoughtful design details.
All of the strap locations were good on my 5’3” 180 pound busty frame. The vest adjusted to fit me well. It’s really nice to have a vest designed to fit a women.
I actually purchased this vest to use for blood tracking with my dogs. I already have the Prois Upland Vest and love hunting upland birds with it. So when I needed to purchase something new to carry all of my blood tracking training and hunting gear (orange clothespins, cottonballs, water, deer hides, wet wipes, blood bottles, etc.), I thought this vest would work great. I've only used it a few times in training so far, but I already love it. I can neatly store all of my equipment and easily/comfortably carry everything as I'm laying training tracks. I am excited to use it on some real deer recoveries this fall.
I dont know why Girls rate it before using it. Yes the belt could be a tad smaller but I’m 5’8 135# and it fits cinched up all the way.
It’s not supposed to cinch down like a backpack so people shouldn’t expect it to..
Lots of pockets, removable seat, such a great idea and it’s built to last!
Ordered this to finally have my own vest and to not have to use a backpack while turkey hunting. Loving all the pockets, space and the cushion. I've used cushions before, but they are never comfortable for long. This one seems really firm which makes me hopeful that it will keep me comfy. I'd like more padding on the back since sitting against trees ends up hurting after a while, but kind of nit picky on that critique. Can't wait to use it next season!
