I am 135lbs, 5’7” and a regular small fits well. So, my favorite part is that these pants fit nicely (even though they’re sized ridiculously large, and I had to order a size smaller than normal after returning my original purchase and waiting 8 months for them to be in stock again). They have little Velcro (yes Velcro) sizing tabs on each side of the waist, which is nice for getting the perfect fit.
I was expecting something a little more rugged, especially on the butt. The butt and back of the thighs is made of a very thin stretchy fabric. It’s comfy, but I feel like it’s going to wear really quickly, and it’s shows every bit of cellulite and skin bump. No joke, I have a mole on my butt, and while I was hiking in these my husband said “I can see the mole on your butt right through those pants!” He knows how much I spent on these, so we are both not impressed. If they would have made the seat more reinforced, or covered it in the heavier fabric like the knees, I could like these more. Now I just feel self conscious in them like everyone is going to be staring at my barely covered ass the entire time I hike. And I feel that sitting on a rocky surface is just going to risk putting a hole in them. Seriously, I spent almost $200 for these, and I’m kicking myself. This isn’t what I’ve come to expect from Prois. I could purchase pants that are comparable for much less.
