New go to pants

I have been wearing these for PA whitetail rifle season in central PA. I have now worn them in Temps from 60 to 20 degrees, rain and high winds. I normally sit on the edge of a field so wind is one of my biggest problems. These pants alone do not block the wind. When I wear my base layers I do not feel the wind. The pockets on the legs are only good as vents you can not store anything in them comfortable except maybe a phone. I like the rear zip pocket as this is where I put my license so I know if it secure. When I am walking on the road I hear a little noise from my thighs rubbing so they are not silent but once I start walking in the woods or across the field I no longer hear them.

They are holding up good. I did have some concern after noticed a couple of stitches missing on the inner leg near my knee on day 2 but now on day 9 and looks like it did when I first saw it.

Loved the gear until…

Seriously was a big fan of all of my prois gear (I have some torai, tintri, greann, merino and the new quest) until I got into some burrs this bow season. My merino zip up is trashed as I can’t get them removed from it and the fabric on my torai pants just shredded apart while removing them, if you can see all of the little white streaks in picture it’s just pulled apart fabric. I’m not sure if I’ll purchase any more for this reason…deer love to make me track them through burrs :(

Mid weight pant for winter biggame

Pants were decent and fit true to size. Not tough enough for cold winter hunt in Montana but better than other options. Could use reinforced knees and backside. Could use full side zip. Adjustable waste band difficult with hip belt on backpack. Better than other options but not yet the optimal big game hunting pant for women!

Stalk like a jungle cat

Prois nailed it with these pants, they're super comfortable, well fit, durable, and quiet. The waist sits nicely on the hips, there's room through the thigh for muscles and high stepping, and have a tapered bootcut in the lower leg. They're the perfect weight for 30-40 degrees (November deer hunting in SE Alaska), have a thigh zipper for temperature regulation, a microfleece liner and stretchy DWR softshell outside. I wore them without long underwear and was perfectly comfortable. I am going to watch for the solid gray and brown colors to come back into stock because I would totally wear these at work in the field. Size L 5'7" 165-170 lb size 10 pants.

So comfortable!

I really love these pants. I have these in size large and while they are big on my legs and waist (but fit my hips nicely) they’re actually perfect for layering while still allowing me to move freely and not feel restricted. I do have to pull the elastic waistband as tight as it goes to keep them up (I’ll get a belt), but again, they are still really comfortable. I’ve worn them twice in 14 degree weather with the Prois Merino wool base layer under them the first time, and the second time I wore an additional two pair of leggings, as well, because it was supposed to be windy that day. I was very comfortable both days.
