Midweight pant layer

Just took these on a ten day river and moose trip. Love the adjustable waist but as a layer under the rain pant feel I might have been better to size down (5’5”, 160#) from large for the bulk at the waist. They were put to work for several days, shedding grime and stink well. As someone who tends to run cold for glassing but overheats on the stalk and scramble, I found these pants a rather comfortable to layer without too much fuss for the fall in ALaska
