I haven't worn these other than everyday Alaska weather, but will be testing them out this coming week for a muskox hunt on Nunavik Island AK! I'm super excited and think they will keep my hands extremely warm with the flexibility of having the dexterity of the internal gloves.
I bought these gloves after I bought the Greann 3-in-1 jacket and Greann bibs and I was highly impressed with all of it. Well made, functional, and fit great. The Prois return process is super easy also. Definitely my number 1 choice for hunting gear. Keep up the good work!
Super fast shipping.
Look to be very nice
Bought as a Christmas gift.
I got the down mittens for a late season cow elk hunt. The fingerless gloves are nice, even though they were a bit too big for my small hands. It's good to have these in your pack if you are going to be sitting on a hillside glassing. I also got the down beanie, and I have learned that down is a great layer, breathable, and adds warmth to cut the chill out.
On a positive note these mittens are warm. Not sure how durable they are because I gave up on them after two hunts. If you are trying to still hunt, spot and stalk, or even be quiet in a stand or saddle, I found these mittens squeak really loud every time the fabric material and binoculars or rangefinder come in contact. I have used countless gloves and mittens in extremely cold weather hunting over the years and can't recall a pair that comes close to being this loud. Since none of the other reviewers mention noise with these mittens it could be the weather conditions, a fluke, or not important enough for others to notice. I might try adding a soft adhesive. They would be fine for glassing animals far away. I would also like to mention the excellent and impressive customer service when needing to return or exchange a product.
