I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS JACKET! Kirstie told me it would be too warm for October in Colorado, but I am a big ol' baby about cold weather, and ordered it anyhow... it DID keep me snug as a bug, while sitting in sleet for 2 1/2 hours waiting for some bedded elk to get movin so I could get a better look at the bulls... I will admit, there were a few times hiking that I ditched the jacket and GPS'd where I left it... I actually got too warm! (but it was UNSEASONABLY warm)
All in all, excellent jacket. Used it in Texas winter for the 3 cold days we had!
